Made the leap to the smart trainer. Was looking at the Kickr, but got the Hammer because it was in stock at my LBS. I've been very happy with it and glad that I ended up with the Hammer. Easy to set up and store... I move it after use and the bike can actually stand vertically while attached, saving space. Everything worked out of the box and I've mostly been using Zwift. Very quiet compared to my old Kurt Kinetic wheel on fluid trainer. If doing a race on Zwift, it may be a little too loud to watch tv, but regular rides and ERG workouts are fine... don't even need to put on subtitles. Love the 20lb fly wheel and don't find the weight of the unit too much for taking with me when travelling (it also packs smaller in the car than my Kinetic due to the shape and folding legs). I rode my Kinetic about 8 hours a year because it was so boring and inconvenient (noise, wheel slip, manual resistance changes via shifting etc..), so far I've put 9-12hrs a week on the Hammer and look forward to it. Only con is that I use it on a Macbook Air and Rouvy doesn't have a Mac version yet. Not a big deal as I just update the firmware from my phone. Had it for 3 months so far and am very happy with it.
