Century Cycles invites all of our cycling friends to our 19th season of Night Rides on the Towpath Trail. These rides are FUN and FREE! All skill levels are welcome. We meet at the Century Cycles - Peninsula store (Rt 303 between Rt 8 and I-271, next to the Winking Lizard Tavern). Parking is available at the Lock 29 Trailhead (follow the signs around the corner, it is north of the store).
Rides are 12 to 15 miles long (depending on what the group decides), which usually takes from one and a half to two hours. You must have your own bicycle, helmet, and headlight. Usually, a group goes to the Winking Lizard after the ride and re-lives past cycling adventures.
The #1 reason people love our Night Rides (“the thrill of riding in the dark!”) is also the reason that these rides do pose some risk. The Towpath Trail is COMPLETELY UNLIT at night and is very dark, hence our requirement that all bikes on the ride have bike lights. We also require that helmets be worn. All rides start at 8:00pm unless otherwise indicated (arrive a little earlier to have time to get ready). If the weather looks questionable, you can call the store at 330-657-2209 to confirm if the ride is still on.

Two-wheeled fun to help one special home! Join us on Saturday, June 1, 2013 for Century Cycles 4th Annual Night Ride on the Towpath Trail to Benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland.
It's our only Night Ride of the year in Cuyahoga County! The ride starts and ends at Thornburg Station in Independence.

"All Hail the Ale!" Night Ride to celebrate Cleveland Beer Week!
Our FOURTH annual "All Hail the Ale!" Night Ride on the Towpath Trail returns on Saturday, October 19, 2013!
The ride is a celebration of Cleveland Beer Week, and a special tribute to the place hopped beverages hold in the hearts of many bicyclists.
Come dressed as your favorite beer (or similar beer-themed costume) to be eligible for the Best Costume prize and other giveaways!
