We have bicycles for rent at this location only. Rental hours begin at the store opening time; bikes must be returned before the store closing time. Rentals not returned before the store closing time will be charged a late fee. The last time that we let rentals go out is 90 minutes before the store closing time.
We are located on State Route 303 between State Route 8 and Interstate 271 (see below for directions). We are right on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail (exit at Lock 29), and next to the Winking Lizard Tavern. Limited parking is available at the store; you can use on-street parking, or the Lock 29 Trailhead lot north of the store (follow the signs).
This store is located right on the Adventure Cycling Association's Underground Railroad Bicycle Route. We are a Member Bicycle Shop of the ACA.
You can purchase a Towpath Tag at our Peninsula store. The Towpath Tag is a voluntary donation that goes towards supporting the maintenance of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
Directions
Via Interstate 271:
- Take I-271 and exit at Exit 12 for Richfield/Peninsula/Rt 303.
- Turn Right onto Rt 303.
- Go about two miles, and we are on the left, just before the railroad tracks.
Via State Route 8:
- Take Rt 8 to Exit 12 for Peninsula/Hudson/Rt 303.
- Turn West onto Rt 303 towards Peninsula.
- Go about three miles, and we are on the right, just after the railroad tracks.
Via the Ohio Turnpike:
- Take Exit 180 for Akron/State Route 8.
- Go South on Rt 8 for about 1 mile.
- Take Exit 12 for Peninsula/Hudson/Rt 303.
- Turn Right onto Rt 303.
- Go about three miles, and we are on the right, just after the railroad tracks.
From Aurora, Chagrin Falls, Kent, and other communities in Geauga and Portage Counties:
- Take Rt 43 or Rt 306 to Streetsboro.
- Turn West on Rt 303 to Hudson, and continue on Rt 303 to Peninsula.
